Blue Light is a new treatment for patients with moderate to severe acne and or pre cancers. The treatment involves a blue light and a topical solution called Levulan. The light is a safe cool visible blue light that offers effective, non-invasive and pain free treatment for moderate acne. The solution is a topical photosensitizing agent called Levulan that in conjunction with the blue light will help control moderate to severe acne. The blue light and solution work by killing the bacteria responsible for acne and reducing oil.
