Mohs micrographic surgery is a specialized technique used to treat certain types of skin cancer, including basal cell carcinoma and squamous cell carcinoma. It allows the surgeon to remove cancerous tissue layer by layer while preserving as much healthy skin as possible. Mohs surgery offers the highest cure rate and is typically performed in one visit by a fellowship-trained Mohs surgeon at our Englewood office.
